Introduction to POPIA

The Protection of Personal Information Act, No. 4 of 2013 (POPIA) enforces the constitutional right to privacy, in line with Section 14 of South Africa’s Bill of Rights. At CDF Security, we prioritize the responsible use of our digital resources to safeguard data privacy. While we are committed to protecting individuals’ rights to privacy, we also strive to balance these rights with the need for access to CDF Security’s information and services across various online and social media platforms.

This policy outlines the responsibilities of all users who access, interact with, or receive CDF Security communications or resources through electronic means, including websites, emails, and social media. It is essential that all users respect and handle Personal Information in compliance with POPIA and adhere to the eight principles governing the processing of personal data.
